Wikipedia - a great resource for everybody

Today I'm gonna talking with you about Wikipedia . Everybody should know it. If not, I'll tell you something about.
The aim of Wikipedia project is to create a free common, worldwide-shared, cultural resource, that everybody can reach through Internet. Knowledge today is attacked by each kind of oppressive power, such as economical, political interests - but not only them; against this threat, and against the spreading ignorance, Wikipedia Team has built up this unbelievable site, where EACH OF US is able to give their little part. You can translate an article from whatever language into yours, and viceversa.
You are even able to add articles: if you are well experienced in something, you can create an article about it, and add it to Wiki database. Just be aware of one thing: if you are saying wrong things, be sure that somebody will soon read and correct your article. So, don't loose your face, take care of what you're writing about!
As you see, you may join and help this community through many ways. And one more: you can contribute to Wikipedia projects through money donations. I have a Paypal account, so I've been able to do it on my own.

Does really Science annihilate Religion?

How many times it's been said "yes, Science is the opposite of religion, it explains rationally what religion claims to be explained only through Faith" .. And ain't that true?
But it's not a negative thing, and these two ways of looking at life don't require to be in opposition.
I'm a firm Science believer - guess it's clear, don't you? - anyways I believe in a superior being, too. But it's damn sure I cannot believe that Earth has been created in 6 days, that Sun turns around Earth, and that a Comet has been sent to guide three eastern kings to Bethlehem!
My opinion is only a little word; so, I want to quote one of the biggest Scientist ever, Albert Einstein.
At the question "do you believe in God", he stated:

"I can't answer with a simple yes or no. I'm not an atheist and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many different languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God. We see a universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws, but only dimly understand these laws. Our limited minds cannot grasp the mysterious force that moves the constellations. I am fascinated by Spinoza's pantheism, but admire even more his contributions to modern thought because he is the first philosopher to deal with the soul and the body as one, not two separate things."

What does Science mean for you?

We all know how much Science is important. Our life is surrounded by Science, and by things related to Science itself.
Turn on TV, listen to music, wash your hair with a Shampoo, receive a calling worldwide with your handy, take a pill against your headache.. You can do all these things due of the incredible development of Science during these last centuries.
These little examples are enough to understand the enormous variety of Science's matters. Everything is important, but each of us considers them in a different way, with different criterias.
That's why I've decided to start a poll about this topic into an external forum.
Hope this discussion will increase your curiosity about Science.
